Five pleasant hours in an exceptional landscape …that we never see elsewhere!
I visited several falls throughout Quebec. Each time I hear of one, I go visit it. It is indeed the photo of the Martine Fall on the brochure that brought me here.
Here, there are exceptional landscapes that we don't see elsewhere. The sector of the 3 falls is quite particular. The river divides up in this location, making it really attractive. Denis agrees with Angele and adds "we could have stayed there for hours".
The cavern is fascinating. I expected to enter and come out after a few meters. Its rugged course makes the experience even more interesting while being easy and pleasant. Experience total darkness is impressive. To not see your hand a few centimetres from your eyes, feel the cold and humidity make you aware of our fragility and our powerlessness when facing elements. We feel integrated into the environment.
In the Coulée verte, the fresh air, the smell of vegetation and the sound of the creek transport us elsewhere. It's like as if we were in another world. It's peaceful, calm and relaxing. What an extraordinary environment.
What Catherine appreciated the most is the cavern. Audrey, contrary to her sister, loved the bats and animation with Marine (a French student in training) in the Coulée verte. Among others, the experience with the feet and lifecycle of a butterfly. Our little one, Maude, takes after her mother because she loved the falls the most.
We spent 5 pleasant hours in family.
After crossing the Atlantic, the Caribbean Sea, driving up the American East Coast, visiting New York City, going down the Hudson River and up the Saguenay River, we arrived in this most amazing scenery... where the beauty of the site is matched by the warmth of the welcome...
Thanks to you Gerry for having been our taxi driver, tourist guide... we are unbeatable on bats thanks to you...!!! For sure, we will come back for a visit and, as soon as I can, I will send you a few pictures.
Those damn Frenchies, Annie and Jean Michel
It's a wonder of nature!
It's unique! The cavern, vegetation, history, bats …
This site deserves to be better known.
It's a site rarely seen elsewhere.
You almost have to see it to believe it. It's incredible.
It's like a mini adventure: a beautiful experience to live in family and even more …
This is quite a site, exclaims Marc. Sylvie finds the employees very friendly. We have the desire of staying longer.
This is a natural site well laid out, in respect of nature. This is what we have quite appreciated. It requires a physical effort, but worthwhile.
Extremely serious, young David concludes by saying: you should advertise it more.
